As the Senior Media Strategy Manager you will be responsible for driving best in class media strategy across EMEA for Lenovo, working in close collaboration with our business partners.

The role will be to drive media excellence across the regions, ensuring effective control of our communication strategies and executions.

It will also include the development of a Hybrid/In-housed operational model in selected markets.

This newly created role is intrinsic to our business and presents a great opportunity for the successful candidate to influence and drive Media Strategy across the region.

As the Sr Media Strategy Manager you will:

 Develop and execute Lenovo EMEA Media Strategy to reach and engage target audiences as well as to deliver best in class communications, in collaboration with our business partners, across product ranges (Consumer and Commercial divisions).
 Devise a Media operating process and KPI framework that translate business goals into defined Media outcomes and metrics.
 Develop and implement Lenovo Media Standards guidance, that set out our requirements in relation to media quality (fraud, brand safety, viewability) and full supplier transparency.
 Work with our business partners and internal stakeholders to implement best practice with a particular emphasis on an integrated Coms Planning approach.
 Ensure execution, creates consistent and unified communication journeys’ across both on and offline media, and between paid and Lenovo owned channels.
 Develop a ‘media first’ approach to ATL Communications and influence Creative ideation and production process accordingly.
 Working with our business partners to identify emerging consumer trends and shifts in media consumption and assess how this impacts our communication approach.
 Develop a deep insight into our Consumer Segments and ensure any additional insight developed in the execution of media is shared with key stakeholders, including Marketing and Product development teams.
 Develop effective relationships with key Publishers across the regions and ensure media ‘innovation’ is shared and made actionable across our marketing and media community.
 Champion Media as an investment using Market Mix Modelling (Econometrics), working with business partners to determine optimal channel splits and demonstrate ROI: share insight with budgeting stakeholders.
 Act as EMEA Media champion to Worldwide and Local Market Teams, and ‘bridge’ requirements between these stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

Essential skills and experience:
 At least 7 years relevant working experience, out of which at least 5 years as a Coms Planning manager or equivalent (client or agency side).
 Experience working for a multi-market advertiser desirable.
 Deep understanding of the principles and tools of Coms Planning.
 Strong ability to develop and implement effective Media Strategy based on hands on experience.
 Network of contacts within key Media Owners, Publishers and Platforms an advantage.
