As a Lead Product Designer you will be working as part of a cross-functional team to imagine, articulate, craft, document, and deliver the core part of the product used by business users and data analysts. You’ll work on high impact product areas like data search, live dashboards, personalized homepage, and new user onboarding. Collectively these play a pivotal role in the company's success, supporting our mission of making the world more fact driven.

Working in a studio model, you will build a strong understanding of key personas and scenarios across different feature areas. Our studio approach provides a unique environment in which you will have the opportunity to touch multiple areas of the products, all the time keeping a focus on the full end-to-end user experience. Your work will leverage a robust set of core UI components and patterns defined in our design system, ensuring the delivery of a consistent, approachable, and usable experience.

As part of the Core App Studio, your work will help organizations gain unique and valuable data insights that are accessible and consumable for everyone in their workforce. In addition, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with an experienced, world-class team of creative leaders. Our team and company are committed to the notion that our user experience is a strategic competitive differentiator. As such, we strive to make every interaction deliver value and delight.

What you will be doing:

  • Engage in a disciplined and repeatable design process to envision and execute on thoughtful experiences that solve specific business problems.

  • Work closely with PM and engineering counterparts to drive alignment and build influence on the outcome.

  • Simplify complex problems and drive clarity by articulating designs using appropriate tools: low-fidelity deliverables, prototypes, mockups, etc.

  • Closely partner with other studio designers, researchers, and content strategists to perfect and deliver original design solutions.

  • Present, lead conversations, and drive issues to closure during weekly design reviews with studio head and executive creative leadership.

  • Write and deliver detailed design specs.

What you bring:

  • Commitment to original thinking and desire to produce work that is both novel and demonstrably better than anything else in the industry.

  • Desire to be part of a world-class team, pushing yourself to grow, and ensuring that everyone is proud of the work we produce together.

  • Strong creative judgment and taste developed over years of experience observing people using software.

  • A growth mindset, relentless curiosity, and deep passion for UI design.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

A portfolio of relevant, high-quality, software design artifacts that demonstrate your competence across the full spectrum of design competencies and skills.
