The right candidate will join our team of UK-based communications experts to create engaging, on-brand content that effectively informs and inspires our 200,000+ European employees who fulfill orders and deliver smiles for Amazon customers every day. While the Lead Graphic Designer will focus their work on the European audience, they will also have the opportunity to regularly Think Big and create visual assets and systems that are used in global campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who can manage multiple projects, some on tight deadlines, and communicate professionally with stakeholders. They must have a strong individual sense of aesthetics and be able to bring elevated ideas to the table. In addition, they should have the ability to work with outside agencies to oversee compelling designs and to drive our partners to maintain our high design bar. This position requires intrinsic design acumen, typographic skills, print and digital expertise, and acute attention to detail.
Not only do you have the technical skills and a portfolio to back it up, you are a conceptual thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
• Few years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong focus on branding and design systems; agency experience is a plus
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing branding projects and design systems, demonstrating the ability to create design guidelines and a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to translate business requirements into creative, on-brand design solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders
Key job responsibilities:
• Lead the visual design process from concept to completion for communication campaigns, branding initiatives, product launches, and more
