It’s been an incredible year for WH Creative. We’ve established a fantastic internal agency from a team of skilled creatives within our Leeds office. Joining our Motion Graphics Team, you'll have the exciting opportunity to get involved in producing high-quality motion graphics and video projects for internal and external use across our retail estate and online channels. Typical projects include social video content, digital posters, stings for sporting events, gaming promotions, LED sponsor boards and internal comms to name a few.

About us:

We make a huge investment in everyone, offering great career development opportunities. Our people are at the heart of everything we do and we thrive in a fast-paced environment where we have fun, celebrate success and give you all the tools you’ll need to be your best self. It’s not just our colleagues we look after – we’ve got a responsibility to our customers too and we work hard on our ambition that nobody is harmed by gambling.

Your role in the team:

You’ll need a fresh approach to quality motion design and the drive to create new and engrossing content. We’re looking for someone who is confident across the whole process from concept to completion. You’ll be working with existing assets but also be tasked with creating new and engaging visuals from scratch. Strong skills with Adobe software, After Effects in particular, are a must.

A typical day for our Motion Graphics Designers will involve working on multiple projects. This could be for one or across several of our different brands, whether it be Sportsbook or some of our many Gaming brands such as Live Casino, Vegas or Bingo. Working to brand guidelines, it’ll be your job to translate these guidelines and bring our promotions and messaging to life.

Reporting to the Head of Motion Design and Head of Design, you’ll be part of an integral team, supporting the Marketing Team as well as other teams through the business located in various countries across the world.

Skills needed:

We need you to bring great design, typographical and conceptual skills. Experience using After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop is essential, with C4D a bonus. You must have a positive attitude towards problem-solving and impeccable attention to detail, ensuring you can deliver work to the highest possible standard.

You'll join a team who all work collaboratively towards meeting deadlines, so you must be happy working at fast pace, seeing tasks through to completion, and prioritising your work using a methodical approach and the ability to multi-task.

You'll need excellent organisation and communication skills, and the capacity to maintain focus in pressured situations. You're polite and professional with a positive and optimistic approach, and want to be part of a team who work hard, but have lots of fun doing it! Whether you're a recent graduate or looking to change career, we are looking for passion and potential and for someone with a desire to learn and grow.

You’ll be assessed on your showreel and creative ability rather than your years of experience, so if you have an online portfolio, please include the link in your CV or cover letter.

What we offer:

We take the safety and wellbeing of our employees seriously, especially at this challenging time. We have put in place robust Covid19 measures and are supporting our new employees with a smooth remote onboarding and training programme to make you feel welcome and part of our team. We offer a balanced approach to office and home working - now and for the long term future.

We’ll welcome you on-board with 25 days holiday (not to mention 8 bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday), a rewarding bonus scheme, healthcare, an attractive pension package and benefits scheme. Plus, our season ticket loan and handy Metro Card loan will save you money getting to work and getting around town. And if you see the journey to work as part of your fitness regime, you’ll just love our Cycle to Work scheme.

William Hill in Leeds:

Leeds is a buzzy, busy place to work and live. A hub for tech, digital and gaming companies – there are also five universities right on our doorstep. And away from work, we’re close to the Yorkshire Dales and of course have got a competitive sports scene with Leeds United and Yorkshire Cricket and Rugby just up the road in Headingley.
