To support in the production of precise and consistent copy for brand marketing, in store VM and internal-facing materials across the business, enhancing the Selfridges experience, which is in line with fulfilling Selfridges’ brand values and business objectives.

Support the Copy Manager to ensure a consistent tone of voice across the business, ensuring all communications are brand-enhancing and consumer-focused.



This role will suit someone who has a real interest in the power of words and who wants to work on a varied range of projects, from lifestyle and fashion to childrenswear, home, food and technology. 


A meticulous eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation are necessities, along with an ability to manage a heavy workload. The nature of the role involves working closely with various stakeholders across the business, so a confident, approachable and considerate character is an essential. This exciting role is a unique opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in copywriting.

Qualifications and skills

Experience in a journalism/copywriting/content role (may include relevant internships)

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a communications-related discipline.

Apple Mac/computer literate – Microsoft word, Powerpoint.

Digital/Online knowledge.

Knowledge of print production process.
