We are looking for a Jersey & graphics Designer to work closely with our creative team to design part of the jersey product alongside creating captivating visuals across all clothing categories and graphic projectsd.This role will be doing a hybrid role of apparel design and covering both all over prints and graphics. 

You will lead the development on their area and shape a commercial and trend driven range with design, buyer and merch counterparts presenting back for sign off to management. 

This role is very creative and will require someone who is organised. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the brand/customer profile with a strong commercial eye.

We design and influence everything boohoo buys, so we’re a solid part of our brands identity. We drive new fabrics, graphics, and print techniques, not forgetting highlighting and forecasting colours and styles. Behind the scenes, we’re busy creating mood boards and stories that will become our ranges. We don’t just design; we plan, develop and sample too, working closely with the wider team.  We love teamwork and creating a buzz of activity and ideas wherever we go. We know there’s no limit to what we can achieve. 


  • Drive print/graphics with a trend lead fashion eye  
  • Multiple product thinking is essential 
  • Bring innovative new ideas to the table  
  • Able to collate all trend information and present your findings to Senior / Management  
  • Ability to translate trends & catwalk shows into a commercial range suitable for the customer.  
  • In depth knowledge of the customer and market designing for 
  • Great Factory experience and knowledge of working with various sources worldwide 
  • Excellent knowledge of techniques and processes in their area 
  • Show knowledge of lead-times from sampling (Critical Path) and production through to launch 
  • Working with the buyer/merch to aid in range building and present back to management  
  • Communication skills to support design work and project ideas, confidently expressing opinion and findings  
  • Have an increasing knowledge and understanding of trading on the department with your area you are required to own. 
  • Able work to short turn around as well as forward planning ranges for future seasons 
  • Ability to create adaptations and updates of current bestselling graphic products  
  • Lead in knowledge of their department from a design and newness POV 
  • Communicate effectively to help own the delivery of sales and profit for the product department. 
  • Establish a strong handwriting for the brand across branding/graphics and prints

  • You must be competent with Adobe illustrator and Photoshop  
  • Excellent knowledge of print techniques 
  • Required to be able to output all over prints and repeats as well as graphics / placement prints and branding. 
  • Highly trend driven with a good understanding of commercial appeal 
  • Fast thinking and adaptable in highly demanding situations  
  • Must be highly self-motivated with strong organisational skills and time management. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines is essential  
  • Relevant experience in similar role and excellent Competitor Knowledge 
  • Awareness of latest design trends + ability to apply relevant styles to our branding  


If we think you could be a good fit for the role, you will be asked to have an informal conversation with one of our Talent Partners.

If successful from this meeting, you will then be asked to meet with the Line Manager at our Dale Street HQ. They will go through your experience in more detail and find out what value you could bring to the team.

Most of our processes are 2 stage’s and you may be required to meet Senior Leadership or present a task/project back to the Line Manager.
