Informa Tech is seeking an Internal Communications Programme Manager to join our agile and vibrant communications team.

The Internal Communications Programme Manager is responsible for working closely with the Global Director of Communications & Brand and internal stakeholders to devise and execute key internal communications programmes designed to increase colleague engagement across Informa Tech.

The right candidate will be a seasoned internal communications professional with strong emotional intelligence, proven organisational skills and creative flair. Someone with good ideas who is also comfortable getting things done - a self-starter, a strong writer and a great team player with an eye for detail.

You will be a natural influencer, with experience of providing communications advice and counsel to senior leaders. You will also have a strong understanding of different stakeholder groups and how to lead people through change.

The Internal Communications Programme Manager will also act as the primary communications interface for key Group-wide programmes and HR-led initiatives, ensuring optimal roll-out of these initiatives to our Informa Tech colleagues, and be actively engaged with our internal Ambassador network.

Success will ultimately contribute to greater employee engagement, brand loyalty and strong camaraderie at Informa Tech.

COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and execute annual plan of engagement activities that surprises and delights all colleagues globally and takes full advantage of our existing and new comms channels.
    • Lead key Group-wide programmes and HR-led initiatives, ensuring optimal roll-out of these initiatives to our Informa Tech colleagues.
    • Provide communications counsel and support for senior leaders in the business.
    • Actively engage with our internal Ambassador network.
  • Be responsible for projects that require a high-level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-8+ years’ internal communications experience.
  • Skilled at leading global communications strategy development and implementation for a division and/or function.
  • Senior counsel and influencing skills; understands and supports strategy, business and employee drivers.
  • Practical experience of key internal communications tools such as Poppulo, Unity, Teams, GoToWebinar, etc and willingness to learn new systems and tech tools.
  • Skilled at establishing business/functional communication policies and procedures.
  • Strong organisational/planning skills, excellent interpersonal skills, skilled at developing relationships.
  • An appreciation for how thoughtful and creative communications strategies can impact employee behaviour.
  • Strong track record of partnership with cross-functional and cross-company teams.
  • Ability to absorb and implement a wide range of feedback thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Degree-level qualification desired.
  • Video editing capabilities a bonus.
