Position Summary:

Studio members design and create experiences that empower people to do greater things than they imagined. Our mission is to help people connect and embrace a wider, global view of their every day through our product experience. The studio makes a continuous effort to understand the global audience and shape tomorrow’s user interface.

Your Role:
The Interaction Designer is a systems thinker and a staff designer who explores how users might interact with a product. You are a designer who can see the larger picture and should be able to independently problem solve from concepts to implementation. You are comfortable utilizing research insight and design strategy to construct a cohesive information architecture and user experience. You are able to visualize and create a bold but sensible interaction and information space for users that is easy to understand and navigate. As a staff designer you are comfortable in leading discussions, persuading design point of view to other members, and also open to and flexible with design decisions that evolve.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design the product experience to be usable and intuitive.
  • Create personas, storyboards, user flows and wireframes.
  • Create mockups and design specifications.
  • Create UI documentation.
  • Create constructive logic and storied architecture from information chaos and ambiguity.
  • Collaborate with domain expert designers and engineers.
  • Solve problems using new creative ways and demonstrate that can solve problems.
  • Open to exploring broad range of media and device interaction.
  • Communicate verbally and visually logic behind designed interaction system.
  • Contribute to product ideation and concept development.
  • Mentor up and coming designers. Help shape the culture of our studio!


Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, New Media or related professional Design background.
  • Graduate degree in HCI, Psychology, and Design is a plus.


  • Minimum 6 to 8+ years of professional experience in Interaction Design.
  • Have worked in product development is a big plus.
  • Have worked in innovation design to commercialization is a big plus.
  • Interdisciplinary design team work.
  • Design agency experience is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Professional design portfolio required. (Need to specify project contribution.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast moving organization.
  • Ease of tinkering attitude through hands on design iterations.
  • Knowledge of design principles and human interface guidelines.
  • Ability to understand the relationship between a device form factor to UX.
  • Understand the relationship between product management, product design and engineering.
  • Ability to translate product and service requirements to commercialize.
  • Eloquent communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Able to work in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Creative tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe CC.
  • Adaptable and quick learner who enjoys tackling a large variety of problems.
  • Hands-on, fearless, self-starter, fast learner, and a team player.
  • Willing to collaborate with HQ designers.
  • Willing to travel to Korea on business trips.
