Condé Nast Britain is seeking a Head of Marketing.  Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this role leads the central Marketing function, supporting brand and commercial objectives across our portfolio of brands and businesses.


Key Duties & Responsibilities



  • Developing the marketing strategy and leading initiatives across social media, search, partnerships, out-of-home and all appropriate marketing disciplines and channels
  • Leading the central Marketing team
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Communications and Press Office to ensure tightly integrated Marketing and Comms strategy and execution
  • Supporting a range of marketing objectives by...
    • Partnering with Editors and Publishers to drive awareness, brand  affinity and purchase intent for their titles among consumers and relevant business audiences (advertisers)
    • Partnering with a range of stakeholders to evangelise the overall Condé Nast Britain brand to potential clients, employees, strategic partners
    • Partnering with the Circulation Team to drive print and digital edition sales and subscriptions
    • Partnering across the business and with the Data & Insights Team to optimise the collection, segmentation and marketing use of data
    • Driving awareness, ticket sales and attendance of events
    • Developing launch plans for new businesses and initiatives
    • Supporting commercial partnerships with clients
    • Exploring strategic brand partnerships


  • Ensuring all necessary stakeholders throughout a matrixed business are engaged for any particular initiative


Essential Skills & Requirements



  • Proven track-record in luxury / lifestyle marketing
  • Deep experience in digital and social marketing
  • Consumer and business marketing experience
  • Understanding of the publishing and media industry
  • Data-informed, insight-driven, but also with a strong brand marketer’s instincts
  • Strong team leader
  • Skilled in delivering results within a matrixed organisation of multiple stakeholders
