Gun Copywriter - SEO/Sales/EDM for Fullstack Advisory
This award-winning accounting & advisory firm is looking for a rare breed of writer, someone who will be instrumental in the startup ecosystem and deliver head turning content in the tech and financial advisory space, with content that influences.
About the role
This is a mid-level opportunity for an experienced digital marketer and copywriter. You will be responsible for contributing to our email marketing strategy, which will include writing strong conversion-oriented emails, optimizing our current flows, making targeting recommendations, and increasing revenue.
This is a remote freelancer opportunity (10-20 hours/week) for an individual preferably based in Australia (to facilitate reviews and communication in real time.
The work is incredibly varied ranging from social media, whitepapers, punchy text, banners, SEO tailored content, press releases, blogs, landing pages, and research-driven writing from a journalistic point of view. To be in consideration you've got to have an incredibly inquisitive mind, being able to interrogate a brief and pull it apart to get to the inner core of the topic.
Write 5-7 emails/articles per week focused on driving conversion/SEO authority with topics ranging from accounting, government grants, entrepreneurship, business coaching, fundraising. Do research on knowledge base, market, competitors and industry journals to fill knowledge gaps where needed.
Review and optimize email sequences to increase conversion and revenue. Collaborate with our head of marketing and our designer on content, strategy, and design
Proven track record at building and optimizing sales funnels, emails, and landing pages
Proficient in Hubspot Impeccable English writing skills
The ability to explain complex topics in simple language.
Strong storytelling skills
A proactive and positive attitude
Flexible and quick to pivot strategy as needed
Strong organisational and time management skills
