At Dove we are looking for a new member to join our deodorants team as a senior Assistant Brand Manager. In this role you will play a pivotal part in shaping our brand’s future by spearheading both product innovation and helping to bring our digital marketing strategy to the forefront. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the brand's digital presence, creating engaging content, and implementing both strategic digital pilots and campaigns. You will be working alongside the Brand Manager and Director driving innovation and communication projects together with our teams of agencies and lead markets. This is a unique opportunity to lead project workstreams independently and add huge value to the brand. This role would suit a marketeer with proven brand management experience, interested in a more senior role and who is looking to move into a Brand Manager position in the next few years.  

In this role the candidate will get the opportunity to work independently, to create and maintain great relationships virtually with cross category teams and our lead markets all over the world. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a naturally proactive, positive mindset. The role offers plenty of scope for creativity and independent leadership, as well as clearly ownable deliverables.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute Dove Deodorants’ content strategies. This includes creating and managing a content calendar, developing, and writing content, and working with our Masterbrand teams to distribute content across all channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of digital pilot projects. This includes identifying new opportunities to use digital marketing to reach Dove's target audience, developing and testing new marketing concepts together with the Masterbrand, and analysing the results of these campaigns.
  • Independently lead innovation projects and networks to deliver work to agreed milestones by work with internal brand team, cross-functional teams, and external agencies to deliver a product mix on time, in full. 
  • Managing end-to-end innovation & content process, from insight generation to asset development and delivery. 
  • Work closely with local teams of key countries to ensure good team alignment and deployment of mixes in each region. 

ALL ABOUT YOU:

  • A senior Assistant Brand Manager looking for a challenging role. 
  • Experience within Beauty and Personal Care industries, premium beauty brands, or FMCG is an advantage. 
  • Someone with a self-starter mindset, who is comfortable to explore the unknown and has a growth mindset.
  • A digitally native person, with track record of analytical and organisational skills. 
  • Autonomy, strong leadership skills, showing initiative and resourceful. 
  • Good creativity, eye for detail and sense of aesthetics and beauty.
  • Passion and understanding of consumers and shoppers. 
  • Critical to have good relationship building skills and familiarity with working in virtual teams, key to building positive relationships with market partners, cross-functional team, and external agencies.

Location:
