- Data modeling and storage: Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), document stores (MongoDB, CouchDB)
- Distributed systems, data aggregation and analysis
- Data structures, algorithms
- Experience with large scale software projects - source code control, continuous integration, documentation
We operate as an independent web development team within Apple. We maintain large lab infrastructure to validate prototype chips and devices. In this highly visible role, you will use modern full-stack web technology to implement solutions for managing the lab, the devices within, the software tests they run, and the result data they generate.
BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng in a related field
Some international travel will be required. In addition to the key qualifications above, a successful candidate will have experience in a number of the following: Scripting: Tcl/Expect, Bash Ruby web stack (RVM, Bundler, Capistrano, Sinatra, Sprockets) RPC and message queues (RabbitMQ) Centralized configuration management, eg Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Salt
