Event, Roadshows and Hospitality supports business strategy by delivering quality brand, customer, client and colleague experience through offering innovative and creative solutions in the execution of our four areas of expertise Events, Roadshows, Hospitality and Merchandise.


You will develop and execute a diverse range of events to the highest standard through excellent organisational skills and creativity whilst ensuring activity is aligned with business objectives, firm-wide policies & procedures and communication/marketing strategies. This includes responsibility for all aspects of event end-end in conjunction with colleagues/ Managers.


What will you be doing?

•Responsibility for all aspects of event management on events of varying scale, often leading a project team comprising other colleagues. Events Managers should share knowledge and experience acting as a mentor to Event Co-ordinators where possible and build relationships with key stakeholders where relevant.

•Plan end-to-end event activity.

•Prepare and manage event budgets and end-to-end finance process.

•Manage event timelines and project plans and procurement activities and support colleagues with theirs.

•Delegate management including invitation production, joining instructions and on-site management.

•Staffing requirements on site including briefings and on site management.

•Working with internal stakeholders to understand their business area and objectives and to proactively recommend event activity aligned to that strategy, review their detailed event requirements and maintain communication throughout the planning and execution process.

•Review and approve all event budgets prior to them circulation for formal approval.

•Responsible for the execution of contracts on behalf of the firm up to an agreed maximum value.

•Ensure all vendors and contracts represent strong cost negotiation.

•Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with our preferred suppliers.

•Champion an agreed process / relationship / expertise (such as legal, compliance, creative, sourcing, catering, diversity, accessibility) and provide regular updates to the team. 


What we’re looking for:

•Previous experience organising large scale events within a corporate or agency environment.

•Demonstrable up to date knowledge of event industry trends and innovation and examples of having delivered those in recently events.

•Creative flair, ability to bring creative solutions to live events and able to provide examples of have delivered this in recently events.

•Ability to work under pressure and deliver to high standard of accuracy within tight deadlines.

•Strong attention to detail.

•Knowledge of UK Venues and Hotels.

•Aptitude and ability to navigate using different technology systems (OneEvent, Qlikview, AIP, SAP, Aventri).


Skills that will help you in the role:

•Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or Arts.

•Relationship/Account Management experience including the ability to understand business strategies.

•Ability to problem solve with a service and excellence mentality.

•Negotiation skills.
