Easily commutable from London Kings Cross with a free shuttle bus from Hatfield station to the door, the role of Project Design Manager offers you the opportunity to be at the forefront of the design of these warehouses.
You will be given the responsibility of ensuring that the warehouses maximise productivity and cater to the clients’ demands to offer the most efficient solution. Taking a lead on new and existing projects, you will coordinate and manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to develop, evaluate and agree both concept and detailed designs. Identifying and developing all business processes, equipment and automation requirements.
You will also manage a team of designers focusing on the sizing and capacity, operational metrics, requirements and layout of the sites which includes mechanical/material handling (MHE), automated and refrigeration equipment.
To be successful in the role of Project Design Manager, you will have strong project management experience ideally within the warehousing, supply chain or manufacturing field. Previous design and planning experience of material/mechanical handling equipment (MHE) is essential.
