The Creative Experiences (Creative X) team redefines creativity by delivering integrated marketing creative for Facebook. Our goals align with the broader Facebook company mission of community and bringing people closer together. We create experiences that help people discover, understand, and fall in love with Facebook's products and programs. 
Our teams of Creative, Program Management, and Production challenge industry norms and drive big, bold brand thinking while also being responsive to product culture and needs. Our focus is outbound creative experiences including Facebook/social, TV, OOH and Global Events. All outbound consumer-facing creative and global events work is creatively developed and/or managed by the Creative X team. This ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience of over 2.5 billion people. We scale with the support of external production partners and vendors, and take cues from our Facebook culture of moving fast, being bold, and iterating. 

The experience design team creates and directs the vision of Facebook's physical spaces, event and moments. Responsible for the creative direction of our physical manifestations, our global lead helps define a vision for production and execution. Focused on creating the overall experience and design of our partners, attendees, guests and audiences across the globe. 

This role is in search of an experienced designer with the ability to bring the physical formations to life. In search of a strong design minded designer not only with the traditional skillsets, but with an innovative approach that represents Facebook's forward looking goals. 

This global Experience Designer manages external agency partners to dictate design direction while project manages from initial ideation all the way through completion of fabrication. Oversees all tier 0/tier 1 and special projects, selecting creative teams to from and run initial idea through to final concept. 


  • Review and approve creative work and ideas giving feedback to the creative team, making sure the output is to the highest possible FB standard and aligned with FB brand.

  • Assist in leading brainstorms for exciting new projects.

  • Participate in, and lead pitches and presentations to clients internal teams.

  • Seek opportunities to unlock creative potential in new aspects of the business and in emerging technology and media.

  • Guide our creative team in their tasks, providing them with advice and mentorship.

  • Input into the Marketing Events direction and outlook as a whole when looking at vision and goals.

  • Find new talent and agencies to work with us to elevate experience and design.   • Experience in CAD, technical drawings and renderings to both create and/or manage agency partners during every step of the ideation through to production.

  • Experience with physical materiality and understanding of environmental impact.

  • Experience thinking through functionality and flow.

  • Experience leading creative for physical spaces and events.

  • Demonstrated experience with prioritizing tasks.

  • Proven experience in communications, consumer and client relations, and management.

  • Experience in creating and implementing timelines.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Experience prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
