Role Purpose:

A key role in the team responsible for planning, developing and delivering eCRM communications plan to drive both retail and trade customer engagement, growth and retention, using customer data and behavioural insights to inform ongoing learnings and business objectives and KPIs. Although this role is primarily email and SMS focused, we are introducing other digital channels too, so this role would suit a digital specialist with broader channel experience.


Role Objectives:

· Create, build and deliver highly targeted modular tactical campaigns and automation programs, including helping to define data selections, dynamic content rules, control groups, HTML build, QA and testing, tagging with appropriate tracking codes and deployment.

Own and manage the CRM campaign plan, identify risks and manage stakeholder expectations.

Manage activity to different customer audiences via different channels, including Email, SMS, Mobile Push, and work with peers to implement via other digital channels such as digital display.

Monitor and report on comms performance whilst in flight and work closely with data analysts to ensure activity is measured and learnings shared with stakeholders post campaign.

Support campaign migration and the successful implementation of a new campaign management platform.

Use performance learnings from campaigns to identify test and learn opportunities, and run A/B tests to drive continuous improvement.

Grow relationships with key stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Digital, Product) to deliver aligned and compelling campaign propositions and optimal customer journeys.

Build relationships with partner agencies to deliver CRM campaigns.

Ensure activity is delivered on budget and within time scales.

Work closely with data analysts to ensure activity is measured and learnings shared with stakeholders.


Knowledge and Experience Required:

A passion for customer-led marketing across digital channels.

Experienced in developing and delivering automated campaigns and digital content for a large brand with multiple stakeholders.

Experienced in the delivery of email via an ESP, including the technical construction of email campaigns such as data selections, application of filters, integrating HTML into the platform (and editing where appropriate), dynamic content, control groups, QA/proofing and final send.

Hands on experience of using a multi-channel activity in major campaign management platforms.

Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Enjoys working in cross functional teams and with external partners, collaborating with the wider business and sharing learnings with others.

Excellent attention to detail and process oriented.

Open minded and proactively seeks to drive improvements.

Self starter, driven and the desire to achieve results.

Degree in digital/marketing or related discipline preferred.
