Key Accountabilities:

In your day-to-day role you’ll be working across E-com sets, alongside the photographer you will direct the model on set and edit images live using capture, creating mood boards and working closely with the Retouchers on the final edit in a fast paced environment. You may also contribute on still life shoots when needed.

The role will occasionally span directing blogger shoots (shoots where the bloggers / models shoot their own content at home/remotely with direction from the brand for E-com purposes), by creating mood board guidelines and direction based on brand, end-use and the blogger’s set up.

The successful candidate will be open to collaborate, give and receive feedback and work closely with the wider shoot team based in our own studio space at Premier Park.

Your Mission:

  • Ensure E-com output is consistently of the highest quality whilst being current and on brand by adhering to brand guidelines and best practices to elevate styling and creative direction
  • Work closely with senior members of the shoot team on delivering current and  E-com concepts from set design to on set directing
  • Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail with a keen eye of aesthetics whilst working smartly to keep to deadlines and processes
  • Partner with Production team to meet set deadlines
  • Together with the rest of the shoot team critically evaluate the creative process and work to improve and drive productivity, cost savings and optimisation at all times across Pre Production, Production and Post Production
  1. Pre-production: delivering on signed off E-com art direction: briefing teams, making sure the set and props are on track
  2. Production: realising and effectively communicating the vision by working with in-house and external teams to action brief and direction
  3. Post-production: aid in edit and retouching process to help with the final delivery of imagery and ad hoc video content
  • Effectively communicate concepts and storyboards through presentations and briefings when requested
  • Efficiently help manage set design and prop direction in studio alongside other team members for logistical and cost-saving purposes
  • Forge and maintain relationships with in-house and freelance photographers, videographers, models and other vendors
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, styling and social media, where relevant to Lipsy Group Companies
  • Collaborate with various departments and functions including members of the shoot team, as well as business partners in marketing, design, PR and buying when needed
