What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a performance marketing professional to manage New Look’s Digital Display and Paid Social performance campaigns. Please note, there will be an element of planning brand strategy within these channels, however the majority of this role will be focused on performance objectives (traffic, sales and revenue).

You will be responsible for leading the Display and Paid Social strategy, working collaboratively with our external agency to deliver on channel objectives, identify new opportunities and drive forward key initiatives and projects to improve overall efficiencies.

The role will manage one Marketing Assistant, who will be responsible for briefing creative assets and copy, updating the media calendar with all key trade updates and performance evaluation including building internal reports and sharing with internal stakeholders.
 

How you will make it happen:

• Planning and execution of channel strategy across UK and IE, in line with business objectives.
• Acquire and develop relationships with key media partners, including Facebook, supporting longer term channel growth.
• Identify and grow key strategic projects, building proposals and managing these from start to finish.
• Develop a roadmap for continuous incremental testing, identifying  budget required and potential performance benefit to the business.
• Working closely with the Display and Paid Social agency to forecast performance and budget, identifying opportunities to push performance and highlight potential risk to the business.
• Management of one Assistant, ensuring they are working collaboratively with the agency with tasks including briefing creative assets and copy, reviewing account performance, sharing weekly updates with the wider business on advertising news, aligning all briefing across digital marketing channels and attending key trade meetings to update relevant stakeholders on upcoming activity.
• Be seen as the ‘go to’ expert for Display and Paid Social, ensuring key stakeholders are kept up to date with performance, initiatives, industry updates and strategy of the channel.
• Ensure that the agency are hitting  weekly and monthly performance KPI targets, identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiencies within the channel.
• Co-ordinate with internal Digital Marketing channel managers to ensure integrated messaging, audience targeting and marketing approach.
• Work closely with CRM team and the DMP to build a customised marketing strategy based on first party data, adapting copy and tailoring messaging based on how we speak to existing New Look customers.
 

What you will need:

• Solid hands-on experience in a Display and Paid Social marketing role.
• Experience trafficking and reporting within an Ad-Server (DCM preferable).
• Experience working with DV360 and Facebook Business Manager.
• Experience forecasting performance, working to meet key performance KPIs on a weekly basis.
• Experience of working with a DMP (Oracle preferable) and building a strategy for first party audiences.
• Ability to proactively build strong working relationships with key agencies and partners.
• Line management experience is preferred.
• Experience of working with web analytic platforms – GA360, Adobe / Omniture.
• A Commercial, numerate and analytical mind set.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively.
• Strong attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement.
• A Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to relay analytical insight to internal and external stakeholders with various levels of  analytical and media knowledge and at all levels of seniority.
• An understanding of media landscape cross-channel.
