Who You Are:

A Director, Account Management is a pivotal figure within the agency, extending their sphere of influence well beyond their team and client roster. Proven leadership experience, established mentorship success stories, demonstrated ability to increase revenue, grow client relationships to the highest levels and strategic thinking are vital in this position. Their goal is to become not only a trusted advisor to clients, but also a leader for internal teams and thought leader and partner with external vendor community building strong and fruitful partnerships that drive innovation and growth in our business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the highest level of professionalism is maintained on assigned accounts and work to meet and exceed the Client expectations.
  • Be a seasoned presenter to persuasively articulate the strategy, value and expected impact of media recommendations.
  • Drive revenue and relationship growth across assigned on accounts.
  • Translates marketing goals and brand positioning into viable marketing strategies and ideas.
  • Offers a fresh perspective and innovation to the entire team.
  • Grow accounts globally by identifying and recommending new marketing opportunities to bring to clients.
  • Exhibit the ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Keep current with industry trends.
  • Oversee workflow of assigned accounts by ensuring tasks are properly delegated and completed across team members.
  • Generate enthusiasm for and commitment to client work among team members.
  • Determine tracking and buying guidelines and special opportunities for specific accounts.
  • Play an active role with leadership and biz dev teams with new business projects.
  • Champion the strategic planning process for the team.
  • Ensures sharing best practices, experiences and ideas.
  • Hold regular internal status meetings for teams across disciplines (media, creative, analytics, social, content, search).
  • Lead in evaluating team performance, promotions and identifying roles that need to be filled.
  • Maintain 1:1 syncs with direct reports, goal setting and performance evaluations.

Requirements:

What You’ll Bring:

  • Approx. 10+ yrs agency or client-side marketing experience. B2B Technology market experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong digital marketing experience.
  • A strong desire to grow some of the most impactful and innovative global technology brands.
  • Experience with creative account management is preferred
  • Has experience in managing and mentoring small teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and project manage under deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate past success in building and growing client relationships and consistently exceeding revenue goals
  • Is a highly important strategic voice at the point of the client and must be able to quickly identify opportunities and recommend a course of action that solves the client need and drives revenue for Just Global.
  • Ability to work closely with the agency leadership team to discuss contracts, staffing, scope, profitability and revenue growth.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to establish VP and C level relationships and bring value to those stakeholders through consistent communication, meetings, sharing of POVs and ideas and relationship building events (dinners, entertaining, etc.).
  • Drive to push daily to consistently meet and exceed revenue goal.
