Informa Markets—the largest events organizer in the US—is seeking a full-time, in-house, Digital Marketing Specialist for our paid search, social, and display efforts. Reporting directly into Digital Marketing Manager, this is a hands-on position responsible for the execution and reporting of a comprehensive, multi-event digital marketing strategy. This position will utilize websites, landing pages, and our registration platform to create campaigns to drive attendee registration, paid conference delegates, new leads for exhibit sales, and media subscriptions.

•    Launch new paid search (SEM) & Social Media campaigns, with complete build-out of ad groups, keywords, and ads
•    Daily paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) media buying and optimization
•    Develop and execute display (AdRoll) and social (Facebook/LinkedIn) campaigns
•    Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaign criteria, and be able to suggest campaign adjustments to optimize spend and outcomes
•    Collaborate with internal creative team to develop and deliver campaign assets
•    Lead weekly digital campaign meetings with Event Marketing Team to present updates, performance, and optimizations
•    Perform regular keyword research to expand reach
•    Create, test, and optimize ad copy
•    Competitive intelligence research using keyword planning tools
•    A/B landing page testing
•    Manage large data sets for various campaigns
•    Monitor paid campaign spending to ensure budgets are optimized and are not overspent
•    Produce weekly and quarterly reports on campaign performance; must be able to look at data and determine action items
•    Perform and present quarterly digital marketing workshops with digital marketing team
•    Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing industry trends



  • 3+ years’ experience working in paid search and Facebook Ads. (LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter Ads are a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related field
  • Experience working in CPA focused campaigns
  • Analytics Platform Experience (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • A solid working knowledge of Google Ads Editor or Microsoft Ads Editor
  • Advanced Excel skills to navigate through large amounts of data to optimize results (Pivot Tables, V Look Up, Filters)
  • Experience working on larger budgets and multiple campaigns at once
  • Strong project management skills
  • A solid understanding of SEO
  • Advanced marketing and advertising copywriting skills.
  • Strong research skills to determine market trends and customer behavior patterns
  • Analytical person who can think strategically and work to effectively solve problems
  • Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally at all levels. A self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get things done with little supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or other design skills is a plus
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript, VBA, or any programming skills is a plus
  • Trade Show/Events Marketing experience is a plus.
  • Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Industry Marketing is a plus.
  • Conversion tracking experience is a plus.
