We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our MAC Online team. You will lead the digital marketing and traffic driving strategy for our MACCOSMETICS website, working closely with our MAC Consumer Marketing team and our corporate Enterprise Marketing team. You will develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to drive highly targeted and relevant traffic to the site as well as responsibility for KPIs and sales alongside the E-Commerce Director and the Online Trading Manager.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Role:
•    To devise, implement and lead a strategic digital marketing and traffic driving plan across all channels (paid, owned and earned) for our MACCOSMETICS.CO.UK website, alongside the MAC Consumer Marketing team and the ELC Enterprise Marketing team.
•    Own and manage budgets relating to all traffic driving channels.  
•    To plan and execute all campaigns in tandem with the promotional calendar, new launches and other strategic opportunities which you identify.
•    Working to agreed targets, forecast and analyse each campaign’s/ channels response rate, run post campaign analysis and make recommendations for future activity.
•    Manage and negotiate partnership opportunities to drive traffic to site. Testing and trialling – bringing new and innovative ideas into our traffic driving strategy.
•    Delivering regular and robust reporting and insights and using these insights to take strategic action to drive the business.
•    Build and own strong relationships with our external partners such as marketing agencies, email service providers etc. 
•    Strong relationship with finance and senior stakeholders within the business is key – ability to educate and influence the business around our digital marketing strategy and the budget required to deliver our traffic and sales targets.
•    Responsibility for delivering and driving the net sales performance, not just traffic targets. Sales forecasting and inputting into the financial planning of the online channels alongside the E-Commerce Director

Leadership/Management:

Act as an ambassador for the E-Commerce team alongside the E-Commerce Director – taking responsibility for the wider team and leading our team’s purpose and direction within the wider business.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have:
•    Experience in managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes.
•    Experience in managing email campaigns and solid understanding of CRM principles. 
•    Experience in managing paid social and display activity (both retargeting and prospecting). 
•    Strong understanding of current online marketing disciplines, strategy and best practice.
•    Strong analytical skills and reporting best practices.
•    Solid experience with managing budgets and forecasts. 
•    Strong experience in developing and leading a team. 
•    Excellent relationship building and communication skills both with internal stakeholders as well as external parties such as agencies.
