Job Introduction:

Location: Home based role with infrequent travel to Bristol.

Reach plc is one of the UK’s biggest publishers of content across print and digital media. We are now on the lookout for new members to join our Digital Marketing Services team based in Bristol. Working closely with both our Website Design and Social Advertising departments, you will be part of a team developing the design, build & maintenance of customer websites. We don’t require any coding knowledge, but you must have a good eye for details and understand what constitutes an engaging and interesting website.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be tasked with planning, implementing and optimising websites built in a “WYSIWYG” content management system (CMS).

Specifically, your role will involve:

  • Monitoring the workflow of website production process with external production partners, ensuring all relevant performance SLAs are met.
  • Liaising with customers in the SME sector, updating and amending their websites with their latest details and content.
  • Creating, analysing, and optimising website builds, delivering strong web traffic and a great user experience.
  • Producing performance reports and acting on the analysis.
  • Assisting with social media advertising account management to drive more traffic to the websites you create.
  • Maintaining an awareness of digital marketing trends & strategies, and identifying new market opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered as a Digital Marketing Executive you will need:

  • Some experience of building websites in a web-building platform (e.g. Wix/Squarespace or WordPress).
  • A strong eye for design, and basic knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Confident professional manner and great communication skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Strong numeracy, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to hit the ground running with new tasks and practices.
  • Attention to detail, with outstanding written and spoken English.
