It’s essential that our digital products look and perform better than any of our competitors, our digital designers make this happen! Working towards tight deadlines you make our digital touchpoints look the way they do, while sticking to the Screwfix style guidelines and brand identity.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the top performing digital platforms within the UK, as well as joining Screwfix in the middle of expansive digital growth.

Our digital design team output a huge amount of work, you’ll be responsible for creating digital assets from, homepage banners, landing pages, brand pages and any other assets that are required to support the business. You’ll always have the customer at the forefront of your mind, but you’ll have a good head for commercials.

You’ll also be creating best in class digital assets, such as banners, landing pages and brand pages in our CMS, which will require some an extremely strong skill-set within HTML and CSS, along with a great eye for good design.

Designing and building our transactional emails within our CMS will working knowledge of email HTML and also working knowledge of Emails ESP’s.

You’re also a ‘go to’ person on any bespoke images that internal stakeholders might need and for any new designs that may be needed. You’ll be vital support for the trading teams.

The digital team also owns innovation at Screwfix, so we’ll expect you to stay on top of the latest design trends and keep us looking fresh.

  • Technical knowledge and a creative mind!
  • Adobe Creative Suite, XD, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Illustrator will keep your creative mind occupied while HTML, CSS will entertain your techy side!
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment you can think and work quickly to meet deadlines.
  • You’ve designed and supported websites (compatible with multiple browsers) and other digital material in the past with a portfolio of work to back this up.
  • If you have a basic knowledge of JavaScript, as well as an extensive knowledge of HTML CSS that would be a perfect.
  • To add to this knowledge of CMS would be a huge bonus.
  • A retail background or experience in a busy design agency would be great as would a knowledge of brands and of course Ecommerce sites.
  • The role would also suit someone with a degree in Graphic or Web Design.
