Digital Creative Designer:

Gray Malin is looking for a Digital Creative Designer. In this role, you will lead the design and production of digital marketing (organic and paid), website banners, and email assets. You will be responsible for maintaining cross-channel brand consistency and ensuring timely execution. The position will report to the Director of Digital Marketing as well as collaborate with and assist the Creative Director and VP of Brand Development.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with the Director of Digital Marketing to utilize data to:
  • Conceptualize and create effective digital marketing assets for both organic and paid media channels, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and Google.
  • Design creative for email marketing campaigns (one-off and ongoing flows) sent through Klaviyo that effectively communicate to all brand audiences.
  • Develop website banners and other digital assets on an ongoing basis.
  • Create responsive UX templates and frameworks following brand guidelines for the Gray Malin website.
  • Monitor trends across the social media landscape to utilize and incorporate in all digital assets for marketing initiatives and engage the Gray Malin audience.

Work with the Creative Director to:

  • Understand overall creative brand strategy and priorities.
  • Define and evolve brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate to develop cohesive brand collateral for all channels and campaigns.
  • Develop patterns based on and inspired by Gray Mallin photography to be utilized across digital and printed assets.

Work with the VP of Brand Development to:

  • Create pitch decks.
  • Lead reviews of all production samples and design files for private label and licensed products, including providing feedback and revisions when necessary.

Skills Necessary:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years work experience in graphic design.
  • Strong portfolio of creative work.
  • Experience designing advertisements, emails, and other digital marketing assets including still and motion-based assets.
  • Experience in web design with strong knowledge of UX.
  • Strong typography and layout skills. Attention to detail is a must!
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite -- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After-Effects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally on a multitude of projects with different team members.
  • Comfortable managing workload, prioritizing tasks, and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience designing product and packaging.
  • Experience using Sketch or similar tool for web design.
  • Drawing and illustration capabilities.
  • Video editing experience.
  • Experience with Klaviyo.
  • Copywriting.
  • Photography skills.
  • Past work with luxury and/or lifestyle brands.
