The position of the Digital Copywriter is based in our Paddington Head Office and sits within our Marketing Operations function. It is responsible for applying and upholding the brand Tone of Voice and delivering range and product communications across our digital channels. This is a hands-on role working with numerous stakeholders across Kingfisher Group in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Create inspirational article content to support product and range launches.
- Proofreading for all areas of the digital business (HIP & Next Gen).
- Create marketing copy: email, print, banner, social media, blog/article.
- Provide advice/direction for our digital tone of voice & assist in the creation of the tone of voice guidelines.
- UX copywriting & web page copy.
- Working with the Brand Team to develop content for digital and social channels.
We’re continuing to build a reputable and credible editorial function at Kingfisher and we’re looking to bring into the team a confident Copywriter–experienced in proofreading and editorial. Ideally you’ll have worked within a Marketing Communications role, preferably within the retail industry and have experience of producing printed literature.
Equally as important in this position is your ability to confidently and articulately communicate with others over the phone and face to face to gather information. You’ll need to be able to build strong relationships quickly and inspire confidence in key stakeholders across the business and ultimately be an energetic multi-tasker who is capable of juggling numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
