In Sky’s Customer Service Group we want to create a world-class learning experience to enable our people to deliver the best service in the country. What you’ll do:

Create customer and advisor-facing help content for distribution across our digital channels (Sky.com, My Sky app, on-product, Messaging and OneHelp).

The Digital Content Editor will be expected to:

  • Translate business requirements into best in class articles and journeys for customers and advisors. Work with subject matter experts, product owners and stakeholders to create effective content including instructional copy to be used across multiple digital channels.
  • Deliver content in line with Sky’s brand identity, values and tone of voice as well as meeting regulatory requirements. Ensure that content is engaging for customers as well as advisors.
  • Ensure consistency of content across all our platforms.
  • Plan and prioritise work accordingly. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and project managers, ensuring timely delivery of quality content.
  • Keep all articles and journeys up-to-date across all of our channels. Ensure that ongoing changes to Sky’s products, services, systems and processes are appropriately reflected in our content and all modifications are introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and strong problem-solving capabilities. Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements in face of unexpected and urgent business needs.

What you’ll bring:

Essential skills and experience – minimum criteria:

  • Extensive writing skills, with strong experience of embedding tone of voice/brand presence.
  • Ability to interpret briefs and business requirements.
  • Experience working across functions, (i.e. with designers and SMEs to ensure the content is the best in class).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant degree in Media Studies, Digital Publishing or English discipline OR work experience equivalent.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience of content provision within a digital operation, eCommerce or social media capacity.
  • A knowledge of user centred experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process.
  • Experience of creating online content according to SEO best practice.
  • Experience with various CMS platforms.
  • Experience with Graphic/Web Design tools (such as Sketch, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Specific knowledge of Sky and its products and services.
