GNS (Global Network Services) operates in all regions globally to drive scale and relevance for the American Express Brand through our Acquiring and Issuing partners.


The Digital Marketing team support the Global marketing organization and work closely with Bank Partners to accelerate digital across EMEA, JAPA and LAC regions. As such we are looking for an individual to support in accelerating card acquisition via digital channels across priority Bank Partner markets across the 3 regions.

Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in Digital Acquisition Marketing and be an SME with a proven track record and extensive experience in Search PPC. They will have proven experience within an agency or client-side of managing Search campaigns in Adwords (with equivalent certifications). 

They will support the Digital Marketing Manager on rolling out an effective PPC program and acquisition digital strategy across a range of Bank Partners and providing monthly analysis and reporting to track the performance of this activity. The successful candidate will be responsible to collate the findings into a meaningful and insightful presentation that clearly demonstrates the digital campaign performance, preparing material to be presented back to our Bank Partners.

The successful candidate will also work cross functionally specifically with the Amex central Digital Acquisition team to ensure digital acquisition activity is a success. They will also support on collating best practice documents and training to upskill the wider regional marketing team.

Required Skills:

  • A  Digital acquisition expert in PPC in particular with a passion for digital marketing
  • Strong track record with proven online acquisition experience
  • A deep understanding of paid media landscape (Social, Display and affiliates channels), external digital partner management experience and ability to stay ahead of a constantly changing digital marketplace 

  • Good working knowledge of managing PPC campaigns across Google and other Search Engines and experience working with popular PPC ad platforms
  • A self-starter who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Significant experience of agency management and managing stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills



  • Experience working across international markets
