We’re looking for a Design Strategist Intern to join Snap Inc. London for a 9 - 12 month assignment.! As a member of the Design Strategy & Creative Strategy team, you will need to bring a creative mindset, detail-oriented focus, and strategic acumen to a fun, passionate, and fast paced environment.


Collaborating with internal Creative and Sales teams, as well as external brands and agencies, you will be executing multiple projects simultaneously to deliver creative solutions for mobile advertising content, inclusive of videos, 2d/3d animations, visual concept images and presentations.   • What you’ll do:

    • Design and produce a wide range of projects across Snapchat products, including video recuts, animation work and editing traditional TV assets / long-form video for the mobile screen. 

    • Collaborate with Creative Strategy lead and team members on projects, as well as work independently.

    • Attend internal team, Sales and Creative Strategy meetings as well as wider cross-functional sessions within the business.

    • Take ownership of end-to-end design process, from concept to creation and beyond.

    • Storyboarding, Illustration, Static & motion design and editing.

    • Presenting work internally to key stake-holders, providing rationale, justification for your design execution.

    • Collaborating closely with Strategists and Sales, to ensure design executions reflect the creative challenge and results in a high-quality end-product.

    • Staying closely connected to our cross-functional partners, to stay up-to date with projects, platform and product developments.

    • Maintain an awareness of relevant design and technology trends that contribute to the progress of personal and team output.

    • Being an ambassador for design best-practice and process.


  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).

    • Intermediate - Expert in Video/Animation (Adobe Premiere and After Effects) and.

    • Presentation software (Keynote).

    • Candidate should possess strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and.

    • interpersonal skills. This entails teamwork, collaboration, and an ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

    • Outstanding online portfolio demonstrating a high level of creative execution and a strong understanding of design fundamentals (colour, composition, typography, animation) .

    • Show an understanding of creative execution with respect to Sales goals, messaging and strategy.

    • Highly organized and an effective communicator.

    • Can work independently when required, but can also take direction.

    • A proactive approach to working, showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others when needed.

  • Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Recent Graduate or Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus in Visual Communication, Graphic Design or relevant design major as of the date of your application.

    • Currently located in the UK.


  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in 3D (C4d/Maya) with a willingness to grow in these areas.

    • Passion for Snapchat!
