We are looking for a Design Director with strong pack design expertise to work with us in our growing team. We want individuals who love to collaborate, can think beyond the pack and have a strong background in the FMCG category. We want fresh, strategic, clear thinkers, who can push the boundaries of the brief and want to stretch the comfort zones of our clients.
We are keen on self-starters, who can help form big ideas, not just crafters. We want motivated individuals who can inspire and engage the rest of the team. We are looking for someone who possesses a broad world perspective and insight that they can bring to the table.
The individual needs to be a strong and confident presenter as they will be responsible for working with many brands and have client contact on a daily basis.
There are no divas in our team - we are a sleeves-rolled-up, all-hands-on-deck kind of team. We want individuals that will challenge and push the brief and get others excited about the journey a brief can take them on, then make it happen.
More formal requirements:
Must have had at least 6 years’ experience and have demonstrated success in delivering strong FMCG work to implementation – through client work effectiveness and/or awards.
Should have had client facing experience, presenting, debriefing and debating with clients.
Be able to mentor and inspire wider team members.
Have experience in, but not limited to; brand conceptualisation and articulation, working with wider skillsets such as strategy and client teams, visualising concepts, pack concepts, VBL (visual brand language) concepts, pack architecture, pack implementation and working with production teams.
