We're looking for another Deputy Creative Director! As a global strategic brand agency, we’re determined to change perceptions and help our clients meet their most ambitious goals by developing strategies, experiences, campaigns, and ideas that excite and deliver results.

Due to some exciting recent client wins, we are growing our creative team and we need a second Deputy Creative Director to support, lead, and inspire our ambitious and talented team. This role will provide the opportunity to work across multi-market campaigns for global brands.

As an effective Deputy Creative Director, you’ll need to be an exceptional creative with a ‘been there, done that’ level of experience across brand, film, and content.

Working with our Creative Director and existing Deputy Creative Director, you’ll take a bold approach to every brief, ensuring business objectives and strategic requirements are kept front and centre from initial ideas right through to creative executions of the highest standard. You’ll also need to be able to command and inspire a room full of executives with fresh ideas, sometimes on the spot.

Sound like your kinda thing? Keep on reading!

The Role:

  • Oversee and direct multiple creative projects at one time from conception to completion across the agency.
  • Taking ownership and creative responsibility for our clients, ensuring we are constantly pushing them creatively in order to achieve business objectives and grow their brand simultaneously.
  • Understand what people (clients, teammates and customers) want and put that into action.
  • Ensuring all verbal and visual creative is consistent and on-brand.
  • Be a creative lead within the agency, structuring approach, encouraging collaboration and challenging ideas.
  • Interpret abstract business concepts, client briefs, market research and strategic direction into impactful and award-winning creative ideas.
  • Evaluate the creative team’s performance and guiding improvements.
  • Create and direct big ideas for world-class brands that can be brought to life in multi-sensory ways.
  • Play a key role in new business pitches, proposal creation, and pitching.
  • Work closely with the Creative Directors to achieve the company vision and ambitious OKRs.
  • Work closely with the Traffic Manager and project management team to plan and oversee the work.
  • Motivate and inspire the creative and production team to constantly strive for the bravest creativity.
  • Push the agency’s offering in new and exciting directions.
  • Continuously develop our creative process and work with creative leaders throughout the company.
  • Be a champion for the brand, purpose, values and positively contribute and enhance our culture.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years agency experience.
  • You love working with people. You have a hunger and a drive for pushing others to come up with their best ideas because you find this just as rewarding as coming up with the ideas yourself.
  • You live and breathe creativity. You have a curious and playful mind with the ability to come up with unlimited ideas.
  • A track record of directing and delivering impactful campaigns and content that cut through creatively and deliver results.
  • Must be able to think fast, multi-task and be able to put that into clear direction and action.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - both verbal and written.
  • Ability to link strategy to creativity and marketing.
  • Excited about driving innovation across all creative areas.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving agency environment.
  • A team player through and through.

The Desirables:

  • Public speaking experience.
  • A flair for writing about things you are passionate about.
  • A drive to be a creative thought leader.

You’ll feel right at home if:

  • You believe branding is more than just a logo.
  • You can create beautiful ideas, concepts and campaigns - which also deliver results.
  • You can bring out the best in other creatives.
  • You thrive under pressure.
  • You believe the future of creativity lies not in the channel you're designing for but the idea you’re communicating.

MadeBraver Benefits:

  • 33 days annual leave, inclusive of 8 public holidays.
  • Flexible bank holidays (take 4 when it suits you!).
