Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in bringing human insights into the creative process.
  • Experience in creative and/or media/tech agencies/companies, including experience dealing directly with senior/C-level client and agency partners.
  • Experience working in the agency and creative industries in the UK.
  • Experience in working with international/global client organisations, and with brands as clients.
     

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-channel communications, and operating in the media landscape/industry.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation/extraction/visualisation. Experience discovering and interpreting human insights based on research and analytics in order to inspire Creative teams.
  • Design-thinking experience, with proficiency in user-centered design/creativity methodologies. Track record of strategic and creative output that generates business, builds brands and engages users.
  • Understanding of the overall creative/communications/business landscape and key industry verticals in the EMEA
  • Excellent presentation, public-speaking, writing and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to speak and write English and an additional European language and the ability to travel as required.
     

About the job:

As a ZOO Creative Strategist, you'll have several key responsibilities: using Google’s unique data and analytics tools to research, craft and present powerful user insights for creative purposes; using human insights to inspire clients, inform strategic choices and to identify creative opportunities, through MACHINE Sprints or ZOO INSPIRE Sessions run for clients and their partners; using our proprietary MACHINE Sprint methodology to fast-track creative solutions to address specific business challenges; creating, delivering and scaling user-driven insights/thought-leadership content.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and craft breakthrough creative strategies and ideas based on powerful human insights, supported by qualitative and quantitative research and analytics.
  • Lead, facilitate and participate in 'creative sprints' for Google’s clients in all branding industry sectors, bringing complex groups of (multiple) stakeholders together to deliver on a brief working closely with; Sales, Agency, Marketing, PR and Product teams within Google, and Agency and Client teams externally.
  • Be a close and collaborative partner to cross-functional ZOO teams (e.g. Creative/Creative Tech, Production, Creative Business Partner and Go-to Market teams).
  • Bring expertise in communications, media and insights, plus a cutting-edge understanding of all things digital and technology, including Google’s products and tools.
  • Work hands-on with data and analytics tools to generate insights for creativity.
