Elmwood London has a brand-new opportunity for a strategically minded Creative Director with a wealth of experience in positioning and defining (global) brands to join our growing team.
Reporting into Elmwood’s Global Executive Creative Director, you’ll act as brand guardian for a portfolio of global brands, including one of our pillar consumer clients, delivering beautifully crafted work underpinned with strategic thinking. You will have a deep understanding of the world of contemporary brand experience and be well-versed in building successful Visual-Identity systems that can evolve with imagination and creativity across a multitude of touch points and channels including digital platforms.
We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director who is ready to take on a new challenge – an individual who can execute big ideas and lead a team of tallented creatives. Skilled at keeping multiple workstreams on track, you will guide your Design Directors to get the very best out of the work.
Ideally you will be consumer-focused from a similar strategic creative agency, but we’re equally keen to explore a more diverse range of portfolios. Perhaps you’re from a brand experience or digital background but now have a desire to bring that expertise into brand Vis Id? Has your career been built around corporate branding but you fully understand the value of assets and storytelling across various touchpoints? Are you simply longing for the opportunity to showcase your thinking as to the future of design? It’s the right mindset, passion and point of view that’s key to us over and above the more obvious skillsets.
In addition, you’ll need to be a natural team player, working collaboratively alongside the client service team and our strategists to develop the very best creative work and foster exceptional client relationships. At this level we expect you to be a great presenter and have the necessary skills to navigate client feedback whilst providing direction to help shape the creative work.
This is very much a leadership role and therefore you will be an active member of our London Creative Council as well as the overall Studio Leadership Team, getting involved in activities such as new business, recruitment and helping to shape the future of the business.
We are offering this role on a full-time, permanent basis. However, we are also open to discussing a 12 month FTC if preferred, or a part-time working arrangement (of no less than four days per week).
