Creative Director, TV

We are looking for a Creative Director to lead the International TV Content Design team.
This is a creative leadership position that involves overseeing a high volume of editorial, brand, and production design work across Europe, Asia and Australia; continually considering our voice and design best practices as our platform and perspective evolves; and constant collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Key Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing international creative teams, including visual designers, creative managers, and agency partners.
- A strong passion for Movies and Television.
- Experience creating scalable design systems.
- Ability to creative direct multiple phases of design initiatives at a high volume.
- Familiarity with design trends across multiple cultures and languages.
- Fluent in the creative and design lifecycle, terminology, workflow, and production management.
- Conceptual thinker who is strategically-centered.
- Ability to consider long-term impact of decisions while continually elevating creative day-to-day.
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Resourceful, creative, and collaborative.
- Deep passion for the Apple brand and customer experience.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams under strict deadlines.
- Ability to motivate, mentor and inspire designers
- Ability to maintain a strong team dynamic across multiple offices/timezones.
You will be managing a global team of designers, providing creative direction and ensuring synergy across the teams. Responsible for setting the creative strategy and vision for the TV business, managing creative resources, budgets, partner agencies, and contractors. You will also be responsible for high-volume, weekly featuring art operation. Driving improvements in production processes, tools development, editorial policy (as it pertains to design standards), and platform evolution.
This role requires internal and external communication with key stakeholders across the global Apple TV business, including editors/curators and the US design team.
Building and maintaining these relationships and understanding the intricacies of the product needs across many international markets will be a key responsibility of the role.
Additional Requirements:
- Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in delivering strategic creative ideas.
- Knowledge of digital asset management tools.
- Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
