This is an exciting opportunity to join HL's fast-paced Creative Communications Team.

Each marketing initiative is planned, created, managed and measured in-house by our specialists. We’re using data to give us greater investor insight and pinpoint their interests and needs. You’ll have the power to influence their thinking, help them to make better investment decisions and improve their financial future.

We’re looking to recruit a keen and talented Creative Communications Manager to give their marketing squad creative impetus and direction. You’ll create content and communications for marketing campaigns across a variety of channels and work closely with your squad and the design team to bring these campaigns to life.

Superb copywriting skills and investment knowledge are a must, along with the passion for the industry and the ability to engage your audience creatively.


ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for creating engaging and relevant content for both content-led and offer-led marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with designers and other specialists to bring their campaign ideas to life via multiple channels.
  • Work closely with the PR and research teams to come up with ideas for joined-up, insightful communications and campaigns.
  • Be a specialist in at least two products or services, with a working knowledge of the full HL range and the overall HL proposition.
  • Staying on top of the latest news, developments and trends that affect their products and target market.
  • You will need a detailed understanding of your target market/audience, aligned with a grasp of the marketplace as a whole and our competitors’ offerings. 
  • You will have a deep understanding of our client segments and the skills to write for different audiences.
  • Seek insight from clients, analytics, helpdesk, advisers, research, competitors (UK and overseas) to develop best practice and ideas.
  • Own the content for their product’s web pages and work with the squad’s digital optimisation specialist to continually improve them.

 

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of online and offline marketing techniques and strategies, particularly direct marketing.
  • Offer-led and content marketing best practice.
  • Detailed understanding of financial products and markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience of writing communications for multiple channels and segments.
  • Superb copywriting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mind-set with ability to bring people with you.
  • A creative thinker.
  • Client satisfaction orientated.
  • Highly organised and reliable.
