ADI specialise in creating spectacular venue and live event experiences. We combine innovation in LED screens, technical infrastructure and creative content for some of the world’s biggest destinations, sports, stadia and live occasions.

Our Studios Division produce inspiring video that instantly engages and immerses audiences, and has the power to activate brands and commercial partners in unique and exciting ways.

The Studios team play a key role in collaborating with our Display and Live Divisions, bringing our screen and digital signage solutions to life through highly creative applications in film, motion graphics and 3D animation.

About the role:

The facilities at ADI have been designed specifically to enable content to be produced, managed and distributed using sophisticated broadcast technology and production workflows; and we are in the process of expanding our Head Office further to support the growth of all our in-house Divisions.

With a number of new clients joining our diverse and established customer base that covers live sport, retail and leisure, ADI’s Studios Division are looking to recruit an experienced Creative 3D Artist.

What we are looking for:

You will be a skilled creative with at least 3 years of CGI experience either in VFX for TV and Film, or video games cinematics/trailers. You should have a strong passion to learn, and desire to influence design and digital experience through creative content.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Create 3D assets, including textures and animation.
  • Work closely with multiple Divisions and in-house teams across the company, influencing creative design proposals where required.
  • Collaborate with creative Leads and external clients.
  • Contribute creatively to jobs from conception to completion.
  • Work autonomously but also collaborate with the wider creative team.

Required Skills:

  • A solid knowledge of general 3D disciplines; modelling, texturing, creative style, composition, animation, lighting and rendering.
  • Proficient using 3D software - Cinema 4D, 3Ds Max, Maya, Houdini, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marvellous Designer, Z brush, Nuke, After Effects or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Solid knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience with Octane, redshift or equivalent.
  • Experience working with X-Particles or equivalent.

Bonus Skills:

  • A good knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5 would be beneficial.
  • Setting up shot cameras and creating CG environment layouts.
  • Experience working with the X-Particles plug-in.
  • General knowledge of liquid and material simulation.
  • Knowledge of RealFlow or equivalent.
  • Experience with Notch VFX, Touch Designer, Unreal Engine or Unity.
