Description

Are you a spreadsheet master? Do you pay attention to detail and love Marketing, Streetwear and Sneakers? Does working in a fast-paced environment focusing on driving demand for the world’s top retailers interest you? If so, you may be the person we’re looking for to support our UK Marketing Director as the Marketing Operations Coordinator.

Brand Planning

  • Aid the process by which Brand Management Plans are developed, implemented and tracked:
  • Ensure that milestone Brand Plans are submitted in a timely manner, using a standard format
  • Develop and manage Regional Marketing Calendar based on the Brand Plans
  • Manage continual communication between marketing partners - Franchise, PR, Brand Comm's and Brand Design to ensure that key initiatives are supported
  • Ensure that we are spending our marketing dollars in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Track all DCI and Opex spend, meeting regularly with Finance, Functions and Global teams to review
  • Manage the flow of BRF's into finance and track against plans
  • Work with regional operations to account for and track our Licensee investment
  • Actively advocate fewer, bigger ideas that travel, irrespective of where they come from.
  • Develop, manage and operationalize short-term marketing goals critical to the unit's success.
  • Develop or participate in business planning, budgeting, performance targets, and policy development.
  • Participate in functional discussions and initiatives across departments.  Utilize internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and enhance business group effectiveness

Financial Planning

  • Ensure that we are spending our marketing dollars in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years marketing experience, including at least 2 years of operations.
  • Proficient financial skills and knowledge, including ability to optimize resources to create profitability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.  Ability to effectively elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources.  Strong knowledge of cross team calibration.
  • Sound judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of policy and strategy.  Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism.
  • Strong understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as project/change management, idea creation, employee development, coaching and cross-team effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated leadership in fostering continuous learning, empowerment, involvement, and opportunities.
  • Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making and motivate others, especially during difficult situations or on tough organizational issues.
  • Ability to provide inspiration.
  • Strong financial tracking skills
  • Equal parts analytical and creative
  • Able to do spreadsheets, read charts and be good with interpreting numbers. 
  • Be a good team leader and have great communication skills.
