Your Team:

Our Marcomms team is a powerful team, always reaching for breakthrough thinking and looks like this: Strategy and Planning, Performance Marketing, Brand & Creative, Business Marketing, Sponsorship and Events. Your role would sit within Campaign and Audience Management, which is part of the wider Performance Marketing team.

The Performance Marketing team covers all aspects of media from DRTV to PPC, Customer Engagement and CRM, as well as Optimisation, Measurement and Martech/Adtech.

If we drill down to the Campaign and Audience Management team, you’d be helping to deliver campaigns big and small, covering the full demand funnel. This role is specifically working on Small Business Acquisition – attracting SoHo customers to consider, and ultimately join, O2 for all their connectivity and digital needs.

You’ll be work very closely with other high performing teams in Marcomms, including Business Marketing to ensure activities and learnings from mid-market and Enterprise are being leveraged and aligned.

What will you be doing on a day to day basis?

This role will have ownership of driving Small Business/SoHo Acquisition, reporting into the Acquisition Lead (who works across both Consumer and Small Business, and reports into the Head of Performance Marketing).

This role will have responsibility for one direct report.

You’ll be responsible for the development of TTL acquisition campaigns, as well as digital optimisations  – striving for efficiencies and effectiveness across new and existing channels.

The successful candidate will need to work cross functionally across the business to get to a clear understanding of what is needed to develop the plan to drive maximum outcomes, and developing clear agency briefs which will deliver against KPIs.

You will support the management of the end to end campaign process across upper and lower funnel media channels (and beyond), garnering insight to ensure that activity is delivered against the right audience with the right message, to drive real commercial outcomes.

A key component to the success of this role will be being able to work closely with Sales, Customer Marketing and the Business Marketing team, as well as creative and media agencies.

You will also be required to work alongside Brand and Creative to ensure the best creative solutions for Small Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ultimate ownership of the communication (media, messaging, production) of all Acquisition comms and activity for Small Business to deliver key KPIs.
  • Working with wider stakeholders and agencies to develop comms strategies, tactics and campaigns which drive new Small Business customers into our channels – Online shop, retail stores and voice channels.
  • Create compelling briefs and measurement frameworks for each campaign or activity, and ensuring ongoing monitoring and inflight optimisations.
  • Manage the collaboration of all insight and learnings and ensuring these are fed into a robust test and learn plan.
  • Work closely with the wider teams across the Business – Sales channels, Customer Marketing, Business Marketing team - to provide relevant updates across performance and insights.
  • Ensure robust ways of working across Marcomms and wider, to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide development and direction for one direct report.

What do we need from you?

You will have a strong background in campaign management, and marketing communications. An understanding of retail would be beneficial.

Organisational and communication skills are essential, as you’ll need to juggle multiple projects at any one time, engaging and influencing senior managers within the business and agencies as well.
