As a Barclays CX-UI Design Specialist this is an exciting opportunity where you will support the Private Bank’s digital CX & UI strategic agenda. Providing high-end digital products and services by mapping and designing digital journeys based on client segment. You will bring digital CX vision to life, producing prototypes and wireframes, demonstrating illustrative channel capabilities to clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and platform partners across the full design lifecycle from ideation to development.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?

•    Handling the Head of Digital for Clients to implement the strategic vision and roadmap and be responsible for CX/UI design principles that encompass all Private Bank digital channels 
•    Understanding digital channel capabilities aligned to client persona requirements and use-cases so design principles are relevant and aligned to client’s day-to-day activities
•    Collaborating with digital product owners, digital CX specialists, business partners and stakeholders to profile client’s digital needs according to profile, segment and location
•    Evaluating, map and define client digital journeys aligned to digital CX strategy and address client and colleague pain points and bring innovative solutions
•    Using design thinking to unlock ideas, identify opportunities associated with automation and optimal workflow with the aim of increasing client digital adoption
•    Delivering demos of prototypes and wireframes to clients, colleagues and stakeholders and identifying areas of continuous improvement/make changes within the client’s digital journey 
•    Accountability for the full CX-UI design lifecycle, influencing stakeholders, regarding the deployment of existing and new digital CX and UI changes and enhancements
•    Working closely with Digital Product Owners, Digital Adoption Managers, Technology partners and agile POD members to articulate and produce CX design concepts and wireframes

What we’re looking for:
•    Experience of the Financial Services industry, particularly in the areas of high-net-worth customers, ultra-high net worth customers and asset management
•    Knowledge of the Digital product set, working with multiple stakeholders across Product and Technology teams and a self-starter who is passionate for service excellence 
•    Excellent numeracy and communication skills with the ability to deal with complex customer digital and technical queries
•    Well-versed in UI design logic and conceptual thinking, producing CX-UI design journeys through prototypes and wireframe illustrations 

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Excellent investment, fiduciary and banking product knowledge and an advanced skillset within core MS applications, design software, tech platform SharePoint/repositories
•    Basic knowledge of web analytics, core digital technologies eg. Android, iOS, CSS, HTML
•    Passionate about digital experiences and trends in mobile, web, and other emerging technologies, Interpretative and critical thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
•    Keeping updated in Digital trends, Cyber threats and current projects impacting their jurisdiction whether within Barclays or the external market
