Your role at Chanel:

It is the role of the Fragrance Brand Manager to be a strong support to the Head of Marketing (Fragrance) and an expert in the fragrance market. This requires in-depth knowledge of both the local and Travel Retail markets, including relevant competitors. The Fragrance Brand Manager is also responsible for creating a market-defining direction and vision for the brand.

What impact you can create at Chanel:

  • Contribute to the 360 degree planning for our fragrance campaigns by working with the Head of Marketing (Fragrance) and other departments (Sales, Ecommerce, Retail, Design, Visual Merchandising, Media, Digital) to define the annual marketing strategy.
  • Drive the success of our product launches by being the key point of contact for fragrance campaigns - leading all operational activity and execution of the campaigns in line with Global strategy, whilst adapting to local market requirements.
  • Capitalise on your strong numerical and creative skills through ongoing tasks including full budget management, product forecasting, working on and presenting business ‘deep-dives’, plus supporting exciting in store ‘theatre’ projects.
  • Help build a best-in-class team by training and coaching the Marketing intern to develop their experience and skills.
  • Showcase the UK market fragrance performance to the Global Brand teams, by working in collaboration with the Marketing Analyst to compile sales data, store team feedback and images into insightful presentations.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.
  • BA degree, preferably in Marketing / Business, or an analytical subject (e.g. Science / Mathematics).
  • Strong experience and passion for the fragrance industry and the consumer.
  • A creative vision as well as solid numerical skills.
  • Confidence in creating and delivering (verbally) presentations.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise your own work.
  • A responsible, independent and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
