Core Responsibilities:

• To learn about all types of packaging materials available and their applications. 
• To understand the manufacturing processes of paper based and plastic packaging.
• Warehouse requirements, including storage categories, labelling requirements and high bay limitations.
• Legal requirements – labelling, safety warnings, handling symbols etc.
• Pack assessment procedure - Assessing products for fragility and the level of shock protection needed.
• Maintaining and managing Branded label processes.
• Packsys training and waste data management
• Understanding and keeping up to date on Manufacturing costs & processes.
• Interest and understanding of sustainable packaging and environmental impacts
• Environmental awareness and our company’s obligations.
• To assist the product technologists with research, benchmarking new technical innovations
• Work closely with MED/QA team at warehouse on testing new and current packaging
• Gain understanding of each function within Head Office and Logistics and how this integrates across all areas.
