Purpose

To  aid in the evolution of  the design direction to meet the company’s goals and maintain leadership in the sporting goods industry.  Assist in the creation of brand projects, graphic design, typographic design, animation direction, digital

Key Accountabilities 

  • Assist in the design and art direction of Brand Expression Concepts, Marketing Concepts, and Technologies across key product categories,  sports and lifestyle.
  • Assist in the day-to-day studio support of the Global Brand Design teams.
  • Work closely with Senior Designer and GBD Directors to assist in the creation of presentations of Brand Expression and help communicate them both internally and to consumers.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining the design direction through the incorporation of consumer research and innovation advances.
  • Help Generate trend and travel reports for other members of the Design and Marketing teams.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Software skills Mandatory (Apple Mac: Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign,)
  • Software skills Ideal (3d rendering such as Sketchup, Modo, C4d,etc.  After Effects, Premiere, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to ideate quickly and sketch.  
  • Knowledge of consumer, trends and styles.
  • Holistic thinker – can establish and drive end-to-end design strategy and initiatives.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Four year college or university degree specializing in Communication design.
  2. Ability to travel Internationally, valid Passport.
