What will you be doing? 

The Youth segment is the biggest growth area within mobile telecoms and the future of the industry, with young people being the heaviest users of smartphones and mobile data services. The Youth team has autonomy and complete ownership of the Youth segment and VOXI brand within Vodafone UK. They are focussed on growing Vodafone’s share in this exciting consumer segment primarily through growing the VOXI brand and customer base, and bringing to market innovative propositions that are designed and built digital and mobile-first. 

Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager - VOXI, the Assistant Digital Brand Manager is responsible for the delivery and rollout of the digital content strategy for VOXI, with a key focus on the organic social media strategy, as well as acting as the advocate for VOXI brand for all-things-digital, particularly own social channels and eCRM.

Key responsibilities include:
•    Lead on the always-on organic social media strategy for VOXI, managing the social media partner agency and working with them to define the yearly social media plans, land ad hoc mini campaigns and deliver high quality creative social-media-first creative and copy.
•    Owning the definition of the yearly performance KPIs for VOXI’s organic social media activity as well as the ongoing tracking of the performance, and reporting to the core VOXI team and wider senior stakeholders.
•    Proactively partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that VOXI is communicated consistently across multiple digital touch points and activities, and in synergy with the overall brand strategy and objectives.
•    Owning the delivery of non-user consideration driving social media campaigns and partnerships, such as influencers marketing campaigns, media partnerships, etc.
•    Day-to-day management of social media partner agency.

Who are we looking for? 

This is a role for someone who is very creative, with proven experience in planning and rolling out successful social media campaigns. The successful candidate can show a true passion for the world of social media and building brands in the world of socials, particularly for what concerns youth/Gen Z brands – and they are able to apply this passion and knowledge to building and growing the VOXI brand. Definitely a team player, the ideal candidate will possess good experience and solid skills in agency and stakeholders’ management. 

Very good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and solid analytic and presentation skills are key, as well as the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-moving environment while always delivering best-in-class social-media-first content and campaigns.

Key skills include:
•    Previous experience landing successful organic social media campaigns and delivering brilliant social and digital content.
•    Proven understanding and showing a passion for building and growing brands.
•    Experience in using social campaign tracking and listening tools.
