About the Project:

The BR Animation team is looking for artists for a new season of Hero Ball, a scripted comedic animated series featuring anime versions of NBA stars. Episodes are approximately 3 minutes long and distributed on the BR app as well as major social platforms.

Your Role Accountabilities… 

• The animation design role is responsible for bringing the animated world of this new project to life. 
• Animators work as part of a team in a traditional digital workflow in an exciting, creative, and fast-paced environment. 
• Artists with focuses in 2D character design/layout, 2D background design/layout, and 2D character animation are encouraged.
• This is a short-term, remote, temporary position.

Qualifications & Experience… 

• 2-5 years experience in 2D hand drawn animation in a professional setting
• Fine Arts Bachelor's degree in animation or relevant work experience
• Expert in Adobe Animate
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• NBA knowledge a plus but not required
• Knowledge of anime fandom and culture a plus but not required
• Works well with a team
• Works well receiving constructive feedback
• Remote position

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $77,350.00 - $143,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
