Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper / Finance Controller - 12 month maternity cover | 9am - 5:30pm - Full time

We are looking for a Financial Controller / Accounts Manger to join our Digital Recruitment company based in Sevenoaks, Kent We offer a fab working environment, modern offices, discounted gym membership, private healthcare, extra days' holiday on your birthday. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain the purchase & sales Ledger on a day-to-day basis. They will also be required to raise client invoices in a timely manner based on contactor timesheets that have been submitted and approved. They will be confident in producing monthly management reports; Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Trial Balance. Monthly bank, Credit card and petty cash reconciliations. Quarterly VAT returns calculated and submitted to HMRC and weekly contractor payroll compiled and calculated. They will be able to make contractor payroll & supplier payments via BACS. They will be reporting directly to the directors. The right candidate will ideally be confident with journals, accruals & prepayments.

Key responsibilities:

* Maintaining the day to day running of the business financial accounts.
* Credit Control.
* Liasing with clients, contractors & suppliers regarding any invoice or payment queries.
* Communicating with the recruitment consultants regarding any queries.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:

* Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 is a must.
* Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Good communication skills at all levels both verbal and written.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
