The Role:

The WPP Team GSK at Grey London are the global brand guardians for Sensodyne and are looking for a talented and energetic Account Executive. Given the ambition, volume and pace of the business the AE would work exclusively on Sensodyne on a fixed-term contract basis.

This role is fundamental, because a great Account Executive is the backbone of the account. The Account Executive must bring a certain energy to a piece of business and take pride in every task set upon them - proactively making things happen with a natural hunger to be part of this amazing industry and delivering for the team & client.

Day-to-day, your key responsibilities will be:

This is a fast paced fully integrated business where creative ambition and push for excellency are key drivers – therefore energy, passion and resilience are at the top of the agenda. It is a senior strategic lead ambitious account with a new brand platform launched in Jan 21, where clients and creative agency are very much invested with pride.

The AE day to day key responsibilities focus on supporting the team on the ground across Global Creative Origination exciting projects digitally lead, and Markets Deployment across worldwide TV production. From creative discussions with TikTok.. to looking after finances and admin.. to running shoots and even editing!

  • Creative: Contribute in creative reviews – prepare for them, ensure you have a POV going into them and bring with you the facts to help build on the ideas. Be the shadow of the AD and be a King/Queen of Powerpoint.
  • Strategic: Build an understanding of the core brand strategy. Be able to talk about it. Always have a POV on the strategic direction.
  • Integration: Work with the AD to ensure all roster agencies are kept up to speed and have the right assets for their creative requirements.
  • Partnership: Learn and own the craft of timing plans, status reports, contact reports and filing. Know how to prioritise what to do when, and work with your project manager to prepare and drive weekly status meetings.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand how the client makes money; their business strategy, their financial performance. Look after clients’ overall budgets: Work with the GBD/AD/PM on tracking financial admin. Understand what things cost and why.
  • Agency Values: Respect the craft of the agency and encourage difference, celebrate individual POVs.

Sensodyne is a £2b global sensitivity toothpaste and proudly stands as nr1. global brand for sensitive teeth.

This is a fast paced fully integrated business where creative ambition and push for excellency are key drivers – therefore energy, passion and resilience are at the top of the agenda.

It is an exciting category to work on given its data & digital first agenda and focus on innovation. The brand just launched a new global brand platform in Jan 2021 ‘Life’s Too Short for Sensitivity’ and it was even submitted to Cannes.

We will be looking for someone who:

It is a senior strategic lead ambitious account with a new brand platform, where clients and creative agency are very much invested with pride. The AE therefore understands the role of senior management and leverage the coaching role they play at the right time, with the right preparation.

The AE keeps their fingers on the pulse, know where things are on the system/in the process and intuitively what support from you is needed; The magic glue that sticks the team together.
