About me

I'm twenty two years old, bilingual (Welsh and English) and am currently the Senior Creative for a long standing advertising company based in the South West. I have previously worked as an Administration Head, Broadcasting and Video Journalist for the BBC and ITV in Cardiff.

I would say that communication, presentation and organisation are some of my greatest skills. Years of public speaking, broad travelling and an interest in contemporary culture and politics have lead to my career in the media. I have received high praise from employers for my work, which is always conducted in a professional manner, while exercising a mature and ethical attitude.

I am computer literate and use a broad range of systems and software on a daily basis, ranging from Microsoft Office (with particular emphasis on Outlook, Excel and Word) to Adobe software and the Internet, to the more professional and industry specific tools such as AVID, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and RadioMan etc. I would describe my IT skills as advanced, with a comprehensive understanding of computers. Having studied Welsh and English at an A-Level standard (and through my B.A), my written and oral skills are of high merit and I consider myself a capable translator and interpreter of both languages. I am able to work well as part of a team and have done across much of my professional career, but pride myself on being able to "take the initiative". A confident leader with an enthusiastic inclination to help others.

My interests include going to the theatre, to the opera and to gigs. Keeping fit and going to the gym are important to me, as is fine dining and travel. I am definitely a "people person", with a keen interest in local, national and international politics I always keep myself up to date with the news and with current affairs - something which I believe is advantageous in any role. I am a fast paced hard worker, with many transferable skills that would suit roles such as a PR Executive, Senior Creative or a High Profile Creative Copywriter.

I am a charismatic and friendly individual, able to adjust quickly to new environments. I have worked in various positions for well established companies, and have left every position with very good references, (all available on request) but am now looking to settle into a long term job.
