Custom Lettering for a TV Show.

Spike is a new TV channel launched last April 2015 and owned by Channel 5. It is a localised version of the U.S. channel of the same name. One of its first own programmes is Tattoo Disasters UK, a TV show that it’s based around tattoos that people have but have gone wrong.

I was commissioned by Channel 5 creative department to create a lettering series containing some messages for the intro and, also, to create the imagetype for the show.
Obviously, those letterings should follow a graphic line related to the tattoo world aesthetics but, on the other hand, they should have a modern touch and communicate on the same way of the whole channel. All the letterings, excepting the imagetype for the show, should be monochrome.
Regarding the imagetype, it should be impressive and have a high charge of tattoo aesthetics due to it is the closing slate before the show starts.
