About me
Since a young age Joanne has worked professionally in the entertainment industry in a variety of capacities, earning her equity card and first agent at the age of 16. After attending theatre school instead of a standard college she went onto train at ARTTS (Advanced residential television and theatre skillcentre) where she learnt how to work both behind the camera and as well in front. Shortly after graduating she continued her career working in film, television and video production, starting at the bottom of the ladder her solid work ethic and passion meant that she began to climb.
Joanne has now been working in the entertainment business within feature films, TV drama, factual entertainment/documentaries and promotional/corporate videos for eight years. She has worked in across a variety of roles in the production team so understands the true needs of a production. Most recently she has production managed an international documentary for ITV, 'Martin Clunes: Man To Manta', and line produced the UK feature film ‘Ghosted', starring John Lynch and Art Malik.
Other credits have also seen Joanne co-ordinating and producing film and televison productions such as 'Doc Martin', 'Baseline', 'William & Mary', 'Apocalypto', 'The Academy' as well as numerous promos & corporate videos including: 'BMW', 'Closer Magazine', 'Halfords', ‘NHS' and 'Goldman Sachs'.
Skills
My previous roles have required me to lead and communicate well within the team, prioritise and work efficiently in a fast paced and changing environment. Deal with booking crew and equipment as well as negotiating deals, managing budgets, contracts, travel arrangements and accommodation, creating/distributing scripts, schedules, callsheets and all relevant information, co-ordinating post production schedules and paperwork, as well as dealing with clearance and copyright issues and music licenses. I have also had experience in organising shoots abroad and dealing with international co-productions.
Sector Experience
I have been working within TV drama, feature film, factual entertainment/documentaries and promotional/corporate videos for several years within a variety of roles in the production team. I have most recently production managed a 1 hour international documentary for ITV presented by Martin Clunes, called 'Man to Manta'.
