About me
Currently freelancing as a speechwriter and copywriter/editor, I am adept at turning turning lengthy briefing into concise, persuasive and accurate copy in a high-pressure environment, and at tailoring pieces for a variety of voices, and to a variety of audiences, both print and broadcast. I specialise in writing and editing in plain English, ensuring speeches, articles and copy have broad appeal and understanding.
With a strong background in broadcast journalism, I am used to working to tight deadlines on diverse subject matter, winning the KPMG 'News Broadcast of the Year' Award in 1999.
Recent clients include: Coca-Cola, Cabinet Office, the Home Office, DFID, BERR, DFT, Bloomsbury, Methuen, the NHS, ippr.
