About Joana
I studied Web and Media for two years at University of Aveiro in which I gained knowledge and academic experience in image editing, video editing, web development, and content editing for web and other offline applications. I was involved in different academic projects including short films, website development and offline interactive applications.
In 2009 I started my degree in Anthropology where I had the opportunity to gain experience in bibliographic research and articles' analysis as well as writing academic essays based on my own field work material. Most of the researched articles and books were in the english language which allowed me to improve my reading and writing abilities to a maximum.
I also possess a Certificate in Advanced English (Cambridge ESOL) and am fluent in Portuguese (native) and have conversational skills in Spanish. I have in-depth knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling rules both in English and Portuguese.
I have high numerical skills, a quick learner and methodical in every task I perform. I am a good problem solver and work well alone and as part of a team.
